So many memories come flooding back. From the time Gerry and I first met through our older sisters, Ann and Margie, growing up in West Allis, through losing touch when I left the Milwaukee area for my work, Gerry remained to be one of my oldest and greatest friends. We use to take guitar lessons and play together in his basement. A few years later we'd go to area bars and listen to live music (drink a little). I remember when he began working at NAPA(for Nancy's dad), Gerry would get me to help him close up before he/we would head to Mama Mia's to eat late night pizza while he made advances on a pretty little waitress (Nancy)! Fortunately, we married our respective better halves and high school sweethearts. Gerry was a groomsman at our wedding. I distinctly recall a trip the four of us took to New Orleans but the details remain a little sketchy. My one regret is not rekindling our friendship after returning to Milwaukee, 16 year later. All our love to you, Nancy and your family. God Bless. Peter

It is hard to believe this great guy is gone. Met Gerry in high school and he was hard not to like. He had an enviable smile and demeanor. Just the best human being. It has been years since we talked but I will always remember him fondly. His family was blessed to have him as long as they did. To Nancy and family, it must be impossible to loose such a treasure. I know his soul has always been in the right place!

Nancy and family, I send prayers for comfort and peace each day. I have many memories of Gerry -the Becker clan was large and was a wonderful force of nature. I have many memories of both Gerry and Nancy individually over the years, but the most vivid memory I have is of the two of you together. I remember watching the two of you dance at family events…I was so taken at how smoothly, effortlessly and beautifully the two of you covered the floor. Honestly! I still see you both in my minds eye… it was really something special to watch and made a lasting impression on me. I know it was a snapshot of a very wonderful relationship. Gerry is home, free and whole. He was a really good and faithful man. I just wanted to share that. I wish you all The Lord’s peace.
