Erik Radloff left a message on October 30, 2025:
My father, Lon Radloff (d. 2013), worked for Jerry --Brielmaier & Sons-- right out of college for decades until the business closed. While I don't have many concrete memories of Jerry myself, what I always remember about him was his compassion for others and how he shared so much with so many including his employees. My Dad never spoke a bad word of him. I remember summers at Jerry's Brown's Lake condo, and the employee parties, and the much beloved and coveted "salesmen samples" that would oft times appear at home, some of which I still have to this day! I am grateful for all that Jerry provided for my father and, by proxy, for me and our family. I wish you all peace and breath as you negotiate this difficult time. He was the type of person I wish more people would be like.
Steve Wage left a message on October 26, 2025:
I was an employee for Jerry at Brielmaier Supply for 10 years. I thought it was incredible that the best boss I ever had passed away on “Bosses Day”! Jerry was kind, smart, and really took care of his employees….from Christmas Parties to letting us use his Browns Lake Condo! I will always remember his kindness and caring.
Peter Rex left a message on October 25, 2025:
Jerry was the best uncle that a person could hope to have. He was always optimistic, funny, engaging and generous. I learned a lot from him. For example, when you are buying a new car, have the dealer give you their best offer on the price of the car first so you're not negotiating with yourself. I will miss him greatly and send warm thoughts to all who loved him.
Mimi Rex left a message on October 25, 2025:
I will miss Jerry’s smile and positive attitude. May he rest in peace.
Katie Chrisien left a message on October 24, 2025:
Sending caring thoughts and wishing you peace as you remember a very special life. I have such fond memories of get-togethers at “Uncle Jerry’s” house as a child. We called him the “gadget king”, and he was the first to get a Pong video game and a video camera! He entertained the nieces and nephews with stories , games, and jokes, and even indulged our requests to blow cigarette smoke rings, which we found fascinating! As an adult, I was lucky enough to spend time with Jerry in Florida at gatherings at my parent’s home, catching up over cocktails or dinner, with tales of his adventures and family updates. Jerry was always an energetic, positive, entertaining presence in any room! He will be missed by all of us in the Rex family.

Like everyone who knew JB, I will miss him. We were great Florida friends. Most afternoons, we would meet by the pool and share jokes, solve world problems, share investment tips, and have a cigar. Ho loved telling and making up jokes and always had a twinkle in his eyes.
