Reunited with his wife Marge (Nee Niedermeyer), Saturday, December 11, 2010. Age 87. Delightful father of Mariellen (Andrew) Bisswurm and the late Suzanne Lentz. Father-in-law of Gary Lentz. Fun-loving grandpa of Dianna (David) Steinbach, Jonathan Bisswurm; Scott Lentz and Karen (Paul) Isabelli. Great-grandpa of Alex, Emily, Nick and Elise. Special friend Barbara. Brother of Tom (Joan) Dieter. Also loved by other relatives and friends.Jerry was a long-time employee of AO Smith Corp and retired in 1981. He was a fun-loving person who enjoyed thrift shopping, traveling, big band music, learning, reading and telling WWII stories. The lives he touched are greatly enriched for having known and loved him. Jerry could hold his own when joking with his friends, family and all who met him. He surely would enjoy knowing the many stories of him already being retold by his grandchildren and their friends. He will be greatly missed but his memories will live on within us all.Visitation at the Funeral Home, Tuesday, December 21 from 4:00-7:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at ST. BERNADETTE CATHOLIC CHURCH, 8200 W. Denver Ave., Milwaukee, Wednesday, December 22 at 10:00 AM. Committal to follow at Arlington Park Cemetery.
