












































































Joined his loving wife of 51 years on April 6, 2025, age 73.
Cherished husband of the late Carmen Renell Giles (nee Johnson). Devoted father of Latrisa Giles, Sparkle Giles-Simon, Crystal Giles, Andrea (Rodney Sleepers) Giles and Eric (Michelle) Minafee. Proud grandfather of ten grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. Brother of Vincent E. (Lynell White) Giles, Crandle Giles and the late Raymond (Brenda) Giles. Uncle of Vincent and Yolanda Adams, Niko Chapman, Nayisha Mitchell, the late D’Vontaye Mitchell, Darrell and Rendell Giles. Also loved by a host of relatives and friends.
George began his career as a welder and later went on to work for the Milwaukee County Transit System and MillerCoors. He was an artist of many talents, including being a musician playing multiple instruments for his own band. He painted and welded his own artistic art sculptures. He had an imagination out of this world and was known for his own home movies.
George was proud of his service in the US Army where he served in the 82nd Airborne. He and Carmen enjoyed traveling, especially to the states where he was stationed. He was an avid chess player. His biggest wish was to be surrounded by women and he got his wish with a houseful of women.
Visitation at Garden Homes Lutheran Church, 2450 West Roosevelt Drive, Milwaukee, Wisconsin on Monday, April 28, 2025 from 9:00 AM until time of Service at 11:00 AM. Burial Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery on Tuesday, April 29, 2025 at 11:00 AM.
