George Scheifen

George Scheifen passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 1, 2025, age 87. He was a loving husband to the late Norma Jean Scheifen for 61 years. Cherished father of Wayne and Mary Ann (Eric) Zimmer. Beloved brother-in-law of Anna Mae (Ray) Scheifen. Uncle of Kirk Scheifen and Kim (the late Dan) Brown. Further survived by other cousins, relatives and friends.

George was a retiree of Pabst Brewery, and he owned a snowplowing, lawn cutting, and trucking company.

George enjoyed over 35 years of fishing in Canada, hunting near Wisconsin Rapids, bowling, working on vehicles, and going to casinos.

He also enjoyed watching many sports, football including New Berlin Eisenhower, where Wayne and Mary Ann attended, Packers, Brewers, Bucks, and a few college teams.

George is survived by his loving children Wayne and Mary Ann (Zimmer).

Visitation will be held May 17, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 4:45 PM at Krause Funeral Home, 12401 West National Avenue, New Berlin, Wisconsin 53151. Funeral Service to begin at 5:00 PM. Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
