Adrian Moy left a message on March 5, 2024:
Memories make us rich. Gary and I were good friends in high school, pumped gas at the Wisco 99 and later Martin (Purple Martin Ethyl) station on Bluemound Rd. Gary ran track and cross country, and was pretty good at both. I couldn't run a lick, but Gary encouraged me, my one JV attempt at track. And he had the guts to let me take his Honda bike for a spin. Brought it back in one piece. We went off to college, he met Jill, I forget in which order, and we lost touch. Had a dinner once in Milwaukee when traveling on business, he was working in robotics at the time. My wife Debbie kind or sort of stayed in touch with Jill on Facebook. But no, in the end we drifted off to ourselves. Such is life. Regrets about not staying in touch? Of course, but we don't get second chances, what's done is done. Gary was a survivor, literally; 40 years with a kidney transplant is remarkable. He lived a full life, full of challenges I'm sure, but I believe he always gave his best, like he ran to compete back in high school, just to prove he could. Jill, here's wishing you, Kyle, Kelly, and the grands all the best, and we offer our sympathy and condolences. Peace, Adrian and Debbie Moy
