Gail Alice (O’Mahar) Hanley

Gail Alice Hanley was born to eternal life, joining her husband Donald William Hanley, on April 4, 2025 at the age of 81 years.

Gail was born on December 4, 1943 to Thomas and Josephine O’Mahar (Burbach). Gail was then married to Donald William Hanley in 1971. They lived and worked in Fremont, California.  Gail worked as an ultrasound technician and Don worked for the County Sheriff’s department. Don and Gail were also servants of the Lord, helping and coordinating events for their local Catholic church. Gail enjoyed her hobbies of cooking, traveling, and her famous knitting.

Gail is survived by her by her brothers: Thomas (sister-in-law Linda), Terrance O’Mahar, Mel O’Mahar (sister-in-law Colleen), and her sister Eileen O’Mahar. Survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her parents: Thomas and Josephine O’Mahar, sisters Kathleen Donahue, Patricia Bricco, Colleen O’Mahar Guthrie, Ruby and Bridget.

A graveside memorial service will be held for Gail and Donald on Saturday, May 17, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Holy Cross Cemetery, 7301 West Nash Street, Milwaukee, Wisconsin. A luncheon will follow to celebrate the lives of Gail and Donald at @ Alioto’s, 3041 North Mayfair Road, Wauwatosa, Wisconsin at 2:00 PM. Bring your family stories to honor their lives. All are welcome!
