Susan Borreson Brewer (daughter of Frank’s sister, Lisette Bruns Borreson) left a message on March 5, 2019:
I first met Uncle Frank on a trip to Wisconsin when I was 12 or 13, and got to know him during his many visits to Mom here in Houston in the years that followed. He came to see Mom during her bout with cancer, along with Uncle Russ, and that meant so much to her. He was the only one of my uncles whom I really came to know fairly well. He painted my daughter’s nursery for me, and often helped with other handyman jobs around my house. I remember being heavily pregnant with my second daughter, Chloe, and shopping with him at Lowe’s for paint! He had a funny, giggly laugh and a sense of humor to go along with it! I’m so sorry for your loss, my cousins, and Uncle Frank’s extended family and friends.
Lisa Hall left a message on March 2, 2019:
Frank was such a wonderful man! I always told him that nobody could ever be in a bad mood with him around. He was always laughing and smiling. I know he will be missed, and my thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends at this time.
G. A. Bruns (wife of Frank's eldest brother) left a message on February 28, 2019:
Frank was a terrific person and friend with a great sense of humor. He very much enjoyed a recent holiday feast with his family. As one of the siblings of my late husband, we kept in telephone contact. Frank helped many friends and neighbors in his life. He was an inspiration to me and I will greatly miss him. I was shocked to learn of his passing. May he rest in peace.
