“I was supposed to spend the rest of my life with you, instead you spent the rest of yours with me. The memories so many, impossible to recall them all. I’d give anything to do it all again for just one more day. Though this chapter of our lives now closed, we begin again and I’ll be thinking of you each step of the way. And know you’ll do the same, because a light that strong never fades away, it shines in infamy, to light the path we now must take, though no longer holding hands. Instead, I’ll hold you in my head and heart like an hourglass filled with sand. And when the sand runs out, I shall turn it over once more and think of you again. Which won’t be hard at all my dear, you see it never really ends. I love you today, like I did the day before, that will never change. So I’ll carry on and you do the same, until we meet again.”
