Evelyn Dorsey passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 19, 2024, age 81. Visitation at Garden Homes Lutheran Church, 2450 West Roosevelt Drive, Milwaukee, Wisconsin on Monday, December 30, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:45 AM. Funeral Service at 12:00 PM. Interment at Wisconsin Memorial Park.

Evelyn, was an absolute joy to know during our years together at Lincoln High School. I’m also proud to share that we along with our other friends enjoyed so many good times, cheerful moments together. Evelyn always kept me laughing with her vivacious energy and humor.

Evelyn was always so kind to us and encouraging and full of life--getting out to dance in the street during our Juneteenth BBQ Block Parties. She was a loving, faithful wife to Jimmie, and a loving, devoted Mom and Grandma to all of you. She loved you all deeply and we pray the Lord comforts you with His promise of eternal life, knowing Evelyn and Jimmie are together again in Heaven with our Lord Jesus, and that they will eagerly welcome each of you when it is God's time to call each of us home.
