Evangeline J. Johnson (nee Rozinski)

Passed into Eternal Life on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, age 97. Loving Mother of Diane (George) Schluter. Proud Grandma of Jessica Schluter and Matt Schluter (Jessica Bordeaux). Sister of Virginia Trasser and Thomas (Phyllis) Rozinski. Further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by her husband, Gunnar, her siblings; Cecelia, John, Thaddeus “Ted”, Robert, Helen, Pearl, Ruth, James “Jim” and Daniel.

Mom had a competitive spirit with sports, she enjoyed golfing which she did until she was 90. She loved to learn and teach new card games. She cherished her family and family gatherings. She loved great conversation and laughter.

The family would like to thank the staff at West Allis Memorial, Dr. Douglas Lillie, staff at St. Luke’s, staff at Shorehaven in Oconomowoc and Vitas Hospice care.

Gathering will be held at Krause Funeral Home, 12401 West National Avenue, New Berlin, Wisconsin, on Saturday, March 2, 2024, from 10:00 AM – 11:45 AM. Celebration of Life at 12:00 PM.
