Esther Fischer

(nee Scheidegger) – Entered into Eternal Life on Saturday, January 20, 2024, age 97. Preceded in death by her husband, Wilbert, her parents, Frederick and Marie Scheidegger, her siblings, Theodore and Villia Junchnewicz. Loving Mom of Scott (Diane). Grandma of Anthony, Matthew (Kristi), Melissa (Kraig). Great Grandma of Breiana (Colton), Jenna, Kolton and Milo. Great Great Grandma of Peyton and Wesley.

She worked at Marshall Fields for over 30 years and then she stayed active working as a hostess at Margarita Paradise. She also enjoyed working State Fair week at a concession stand with her best friend, Mary. She enjoyed planting and watching her flowers grow along with knitting in the winter.

The family would like to thank Heather, her morning caregiver, and Kathy and Tom for their help so she could stay in her home. Also, a big thank you to her wonderful neighbors for always helping out and keeping an eye on her.

Visitation will be held at Greenfield Park Lutheran Church, 1236 South 115th Street, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on Thursday, February 1, 2024, 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM. Funeral Service at 12:00 PM. Burial to follow at Highland Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to Greenfield Park Lutheran Church.
