Emma “Momma Jean” Nash

Emma (Jean) Nash, age 82, of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. passed away on September 10, 2026, in the company of loved ones after leaving a fulfilling life.

Emma Nash was born on April 8, 1944, in Kosciusko, Mississippi to her beloved parents, Edna Dona and Wesson Nash, alongside her loving five sisters and three brothers.

After graduating from high school, she worked at the Milwaukee County Hospital for twenty plus years. Then later she dedicated her time helping her community, partly by running a food pantry through her church and serving for many years on the board at Walnut Way Conservation Corp.

Jean Nash is survived by her four beautiful children, ten adored grandchildren, thirteen special great-grandchildren and a plethora of cousins, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded by all of her siblings and her grandson, Cameron Nash.

She was a single rose in a field of lilies and will forever be missed.

Visitation from 11:30 AM – 12:15 PM. Service at 12:30 PM on Wednesday, September 23, 2026 at Krause Funeral Home, 9000 West Capitol Drive, Milwaukee, Wisconsin 53222. Procession to Wisconsin Memorial Park to follow.
