Elizabeth Ann Bonert (nee Foldesi)

Found her peace and reunited with her husband, Peter, on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at the age of 93. Caring and sweet mom of Pete (Tamie) Bonert and Gabriella (Emilio) Bras. Kind and loving grandma of Nick (Kayla) Bonert, Amanda (Blake) Webb, Emilio “EJ” Bras and Pablo (Jackie) Bras. Further survived by great grandchildren, other relatives and friends, including Kadie (Kyle) Cepura and Chris (Andrea) Atwood. Preceded in death by her twin sister, Marika and sister Margit.

Elizabeth was born just a few minutes apart from her twin sister in 1933 in Budapest Hungary. After marrying Peter, they emigrated together to the United States in 1956 where they aspired to life of better opportunities for personal freedom and prosperity. Arriving with no possessions besides the contents of one suitcase between the two of them, they both quickly learned to speak English and studied to become proud American citizens. They worked long hours and hard jobs to provide a happy and secure upbringing for their two children. Always giving, kind, friendly, helpful, thoughtful and caring of others, we are fortunate that she lived a long life able to share love and joy with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be deeply missed.

Visitation will be held at Wisconsin Memorial Park-Chapel of the Chimes, 13235 West Capitol Drive, Brookfield, Wisconsin 53005, on Monday, August 31, 2026, 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM. Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. Burial to follow.
