Elia Leo Sotiros

October 3, 1936 – December 26, 2023

Leo was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on October 3, 1936. He passed away at home in Savannah, GA on December 26, 2023, at the age of 87. He was the son of Peter and Eva Sotiros. He was predeceased by his loving wife Betty “Keke” Sotiros, her parents, Peter and Dorothy Dandos, sister Helen Tzioumis, eldest brother Harry (Georgia) Sotiros, sister in laws Merdy Sotiros, Athene (Harry) Papageorge, and Christine Mouhelis. Leo is survived by his daughter Stephanie A. Sotiros, son Peter L (Valerie) Sotiros, granddaughters Ashley (Aaron) Kunstmann, Lexi (Michael) Carroll, Nicole (Tyler) Zimmer and great grandchildren Isabel “Bella” Kunstmann, Max Kunstmann and Theo Zimmer. Further survived by his brother John Sotiros and brother-in- law Gus Mouhelis, nieces and nephews, their families and other relatives.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 10, 2024, at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church 9440 West Congress Street, Wauwatosa, Wisconsin at 10:00 AM, followed by a funeral service celebrating his life at 11:00 AM.
