Entered Heaven on September 6, 2016 at age 73. Beloved husband of Sharon (nee Handley). Loving father of Colleen (Mark) Kiel, Suzy, Douglas, James and Kristin. Dear grandfather of  Joshua (Shay), Kaelyn (Jay), Sean, Christopher, Nicole, Gabrielle, Alexandra, Elijah and Mia. Great-grandfather of Laniya, Xavier, Sean Jr., October Raye and Isabella. Brother of Patrick and Daniel. Further survived by additional family and friends.

Doug was a police officer for the Milwaukee Police Department for 27 years and retired in 1995. He enjoyed baseball, playing cards and spending time with family and friends.

Visitation will be at Krause Funeral Home, 21600 West Capitol Drive, Brookfield, WI on Monday, September 12, 2016 from 3:00 PM – 5:15 PM. Funeral Service at 5:30 PM. Private burial.

How loving of God to promise what is found at Revelation 21:4 which says, “And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore.
