“EVERYDAY WAS A BONUS”

Doran, age 95, passed away on December 14, 2017. Devoted husband of the late June A. Saxe (nee Bollmann). Beloved brother of Carol Saxe-Bonn. Loving father of Sandi Pruitt and Jeff (Janice) Saxe. Proud “Gramps” of Heather, Darrell (Nikki), Ryan (Michelle), Samantha, and Alyssa, and Great-“Gramps” of Tia, Tyler, Braden, Brenna, Evan, Arianna, Jayden, and Finley.  Further survived by additional family and friends.

Doran served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II, then joined the U.S. Navy during the Korean War.

Leyte to Okinawa to Iwo Jima to Korea.

Doran was devoted to the Boyscouts which was a big part of his life for 45 years.

Visitation at Krause Funeral Home, 21600 West Capitol Drive, Brookfield, Wisconsin on Thursday, December 28, 2017 12:00 PM – 1:45 PM. Funeral service at 2:00 PM. Entombment at Wisconsin Memorial Park.

Doran retired from Harley Davidson and will be taking his final ride in the “HARLEY HEARSE.”
