Joined his loving wife, Helen, of 61 years, on Sunday, March 5, 2017. Age 93. Loving father of Michael (Lynn), William, and Katherine (Michael) Dempsey. Dear grandfather of Mark, Kevin (Jill), Gary, Jason, Brad, Colin, and Douglas Pietrantonio. Great-grandfather of Jaden, Alex, Karina, Mason, and McKenzie. Dear brother of Dolores Gregg. Also loved by other relatives and many dear friends.

Visitation will be held at Krause Funeral Home, 9000 West Capitol Drive, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on Friday, March 10, 2017 12:00 PM – 1:15 PM. Funeral Service to follow at 1:30 PM. Interment Wisconsin Memorial Park.

Donald enlisted into the Army Air Force during WWII and achieved the rank of Second Lieutenant. After proudly serving his nation, Donald founded North Shore Dodge and Klemz Chrysler Plymouth where he served many families in the Milwaukee area. In his free time, Donald was a professional musician who played multiple instruments in swing era bands.

Special thanks to the wonderful staff at St. Camillus for their compassionate care of Donald during his stay.

Great Grandpa- karina will miss the ice cream, Jaden will miss the lemonade, and Alex will miss the chocolate! Kevin will miss you asking him how many cars he has sold for the month. We are all grateful that you are in peace and... again with the "love of your life". Peace in peace Grandpa/Great Grandpa you will be missed.
