Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday, July 5, 2026, at the age of 88. Loving mother of Laurie (Bob) Lang, Lisa (Mike) Kurth and Steve (Suzanne) Taipala. Proud grandma of Kristine (Adam) Weiss, Kevin (Sarah) Lang, Alyssa (Luke) Fowler and Jordan Kurth, Erika, Evan and Ainsley Taipala. Proud Gigi of Nolan, Bryson, Penelope and Arthur. Preceded in death by her husband, Doug Taipala.

Gathering will be held at Unity Lutheran Church – Cross of Life Campus 20700 West North Avenue, Brookfield, Wisconsin 53045, on Saturday, August 1, 2026, 10:30 AM – 11:30 AM. Celebration of Life at 11:30 AM.

Lisa, we will always remember sitting with your mom in your backyard enjoying birthdays and summertime. And her dancing with Alyssa in her wedding gown in your family room was an unforgettable memory…so cute! She was so proud of her children and grandchildren and loved her little dogs!
