Dolores Verna December 2, 1928 – December 25, 2024 – Passed into eternal life on Wednesday, December 25, 2024, age 96.  Finally at peace at the side of her loving husband of 67 years, Edward Verna. They spent their summers up north at their lake home.  Also preceded in death by her daughter, Gail Stawicki (Jeff, deceased)

Survived by her children Sandra (Michael) Driggett, Richard (Denise) Verna. Beloved grandma of Greg (Allison), Courtney (Shawn), Laura (Todd, deceased), Jared (Abbe), Tony (Jenni), and Tami.  Proud great grandma of Cameron, Kendra, Carson, Nolan, Kennedy, Corbin, Tyler, Audrey, Nolan, Colten and Rylie.

Also loved by nieces, nephews and many friends.

Dolores enjoyed many hobbies – sewing, quilting, card-making, reading, knitting, crocheting and genealogy.

Visitation will be held at Krause Funeral Home, 12401 West National Avenue, New Berlin, Wisconsin on Monday, January 13, 2025 from 5:00 PM – 6:45 PM. Service to begin at 7:00 PM. Interment Highland Memorial Park Cemetery.

My grandmothers sweet sister, may you rest in peace. I have many many memories of Deloris and Uncle Walley spending much time with my grandparents . She was so good to me. Now my grandma and her sweet sister are reunited with their loved ones. We will most certainly miss the two of them for we can’t be selfish for they both lived long lives and it’s their turn to dance up in heaven and watch over us all. We love you Aunt LaLa!
