It is with sorrow that the family of Diana announce her death after a bout with pancreatic cancer. Diana was the daughter of Harold and Phyllis Krueger (deceased) and the sister of Cynthia Krueger Prost (Bill). She grew up in Brookfield and attended Woodside-Brookside Elementary School and then graduated from John Marshall High School in Milwaukee. She attended the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee as a voice major and continued to play the piano which she started at age 4. After her time at UWM, she worked for a variety of dental offices before she started her own business, Esthetically Yours, in Brookfield as a licensed esthetician where she developed a dedicated group of customers. Diana was vivacious, fun-loving, and energetic. She loved to dance and dress up for an evening out with friends. The disco craze was one that she wholeheartedly, supported; and any Saturday night she could be found at her favorite venue, Park Avenue Disco! She especially loved dressing up for Halloween in elaborate costumes.
From childhood on, she loved music, and she became an accomplished pianist after attending the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music and the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She continued to play for her own entertainment for most of her life. Diana also played at weddings, church and other gatherings. She was an excellent home chef, creating her own recipes and she could be counted on to create a signature cocktail for family gatherings. Having been raised in a Christian family, Diana had the background over faith, which she especially relied on as she dealt with her final illness.
Diana was married to Ralph Mauch and Bill Neveling (deceased). She is survived by her sister, Cynthia, and various cousins as well as your good friend, Craig McGee.
Per Diana’s wishes, no funeral will be held. A Celebration of Life will be private with friends and family.
Since she was a breast cancer survivor, donations can be made in her name to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
