Dennis Neuburg

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a truly remarkable man—a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, father-in-law, brother-in-law, cousin and friend.

 Dennis was a man who showed strength like no other. Through every challenge life brought his way, he faced it with courage, determination, and an unwavering spirit. He didn’t simply live life—he embraced it, enjoyed it to the fullest, and made memories that will remain in our hearts forever.

  Dennis started and raised his family in Brown Deer, WI, where he built a life filled with love, family, friendships and community. He had a genuine love for people and cherished the friendships he made throughout his life. He worked as a lithographer, and after retiring, he quickly realized how much he missed being around people. He began working as a delivery driver for a local deli catering company and then later, as a floral-delivery driver for a local florist, where he loved meeting new people, making connections, and brightening their days. Bringing joy to others came naturally to Dennis, and he had a special way of making people feel welcome and valued.

  Above all, Dennis was a devoted husband and is survived by his bride Patricia (Patti) Neuburg (Mathiak) of 62 years along with his 5 children who loved him dearly: Jeff (Jeanne) Neuburg, Kris (Phil) Dinovo, Cindy (Chris) Leu, Sandy (Kevin) Dyk, and Tracy (Jamie) Noble. His family was his greatest pride and joy and they were his world.

 He will also be missed by his grandchildren who held a very special place in his heart: Philip (Jeannette) Dinovo, Mitchel Leu, Emily Neuburg, Nicholas Neuburg, Trevor (Sarah) Winters, Aidan Dyk and Brady Noble. He loved them fiercely and treasured every moment he was able to spend with them. And his great-granddaughter, Francesca Dinovo, brought a special kind of joy to his life and sparkle to his eye.

The love he had for his family was immeasurable, and they will forever carry that love with them.

  Those who knew Dennis knew he had a deep and undeniable love for the outdoors. But perhaps no place held his heart quite like Fox Lake. It was more than a place to him—it was a piece of his soul, a place where he felt most alive, and a place he loved sharing with family and friends. He loved fishing, hunting, golf, snowmobiling, gathering with loved ones for games of cornhole at the lake and wouldn’t miss the Packers/Badgers/Brewers games! For many years, he and Patti were part of a bowling league as well….another way for him to connect with others.  More than anything, he loved the time spent together and the laughter, stories, adventures and simple moments that became lasting memories. Fox Lake was a place where friendships grew, families gathered, and Dennis could enjoy so many of the things he loved most. The memories created there will be among the most treasured gifts he leaves behind.

  He had a way of making people feel welcome, creating memories that lasted long after the day was over, and laughter that will forever stay with us. You didn’t need to be immediate family to be impacted by Dennis’ love and laughter. His friends and extended family meant so much to him, and his love for friendship and people remained a constant throughout his years.

 Though our hearts are broken by his absence, we are grateful for the extraordinary life he lived, the strength he showed, the love he gave, and the countless memories he created.

 He will be missed more than words can express, but his love will never leave us. He will live on in the stories we tell, the traditions we carry forward, the places that remind us of him, and most importantly, in the hearts of everyone who had the privilege of loving him.

 He may no longer be by our side, but he will forever be with us—in our hearts, in our memories, and in every sunset over Fox Lake.

  Rest peacefully. You gave us all a lifetime of love, strength, and memories. We love you. We miss you. And we will carry you with us always.
