Dennis will always be UNCLE “D” to me – a far greater presence in my life than blood relatives – from “my” beginning, the year after he and my parents (Tom / Mary Alice [Roche] Pellowski) graduated from Marquette University to last seeing him in August and every time in between. He visited us in “exotic” places we lived, like Illinois and Minnesota; provided “airplane” rides as a kid; gifted Casey Kasem American Top 40/Queen/Paul McCartney & Wings records from WRKR; talked sports (Bucks, Brewers [my Yankees], Packers and MU Warriors/Al McGuire) music, movies/movie poster collecting. He celebrated many occasions w/us: big and small, happy . . . my return home from Desert Shield/Storm, being a Groomsman for me . . . and sad . . . Dad’s memorial service last May. It would have been so much fun telling him about my recent pilgrimage to Graceland and talking everything Elvis . . . Rest in Peace Uncle “D”

My heart goes out to all of the families! I wish I could have visited him while he was in the hospital or in hospice! I will miss him terribly, but will never forget him and his great sense of humor!!! Our hour long conversations were wonderful and kept me feeling so utterly grateful and talking about old times from Marquette, the many times Denny , Tom, and I spent together! God bless Denny and all of us who knew him and loved him ❤️❤️❤️🙏🙏😔🥲😘
