Died peacefully, Sunday, November 20, 2016. Age 81. Beloved husband of the late Eileen (nee Brzinski). Dear father of the late Jodie Rees and Dave (Colette) Rees. Proud papa of David J. Rees, Michael Rees and Nicole Priola. Special friend of Carol Smith. Also loved by other relatives and friends.

Gathering at Krause Funeral Home, 12401 West National Avenue, New Berlin, WI on Saturday, November 26, from 11:00 AM – 1:45 PM. Memorial Service at 2:00 PM. Interment St. Adalbert Cemetery.

Dave was employed at Payne and Dolan for many years as an Operating Engineer. He was a proud life time member of Local 139. Dave was a large man with a big heart and a great sense of humor who spent many hours sharing stories and bringing laughter to others.

Dave’s family would like to thank the staff at Linden Grove Mukwonogo and the staff at Heartland Hospice for their kind and compassionate care.
