We were very sorry to here of Dan's sudden passing and wish all of you our deepest sympathies. When we were boys (Dan was 4 years older), he put me on the back of his bike and taught me how to make what he called rolling stops through stop signs. I told my dad Jerry about it. My dad was a Cudahy cop. He told me to always stop at stop signs and stop listening to Dan. Just a small remembrance from when we were kids. Your whole family is in our prayers during this very sad time.

So very sorry for the passing of a great brother-in law. So many memories over all the years, remember so fondly a fishing trip with Dan on Lake Michigan many years ago, launched his Sea Ray boat at 5am on a absolutely sun drenched morning. After several hours of trying to land some Coho, the storm of the year blew in, I was freaking out. Dan kept his cool and got us safely back home, a great guy, brother-in law and a truly good person who will be sorely missed by all.

Linda and family, I am heart-broken over Dan’s passing. You and he have been so sweet to me since I lost Jack - Dan was the true spirit of “Semper Fidelis.” I have enjoyed the pictures he sent to me over the years of your beautiful grandchildren - Dan always looked so happy when he was in the middle of them. He signed off on his messages with “SD.” When he told me it meant “sweet dreams,” I thought that exactly exemplified the person he was. SD, Dan, and Semper Fidelis.
