I am in total shock. i just found out today from an old Milwaukee Valve co- worker who seen it in the obit. I have known Dan for over 30 years we meet at Milwaukee Valve and have been friends since. I had last talked to him on the 20th. One of the best times I ever had was when he was living in West Allis near State Fair Park and the fair was going on and we were hanging out because we were going to the fair later that night with him. Then his brother David stopped over and we were having a couple beers and David pulled out a new fishing pole. One of them came up with the idea to put $5 on the hook and lay it out on the sidewalk so when passer-buyers would see it and try to pick it up and then we reeled it in. The first victim was a couple the lady said to her husband look $5 as she reached for the $ Dave reeled it just out of her reach she continued to reach for it and he keep reeling it and she continued to chase it as we laughed are butts off. Her husband notice what was going on and started laughing his butt off. She finally realized what was going on and stopped. They came up to the porch were we were sitting and her husband said that was hilarious and had a beer with us. We continue to this for hours till some kids dived on it and we let him keep it best fun we every had for $5. I will deeply miss him he was a brother from another mother.Rest in peace my friend.Loved you like a brother.
