Cynthia Mary Conrad (August 15, 1948- June 7, 2026)

Cynthia M. Conrad (nee Gracyalny), 77, of Wind Point, WI (longtime resident of New Berlin, WI), died in Racine, WI on June 7, 2026. She was surrounded by her loving family and is survived by her children Jason Conrad (Linda), Sarah Zielinski (Jeff Hupp); grandchildren Michaela Zielinski, Kendall Conrad (Nick Alberti), Zoey Zielinski (Nathan Loper), Chloe Hupp and Evie Hupp; her brother Mike Gracyalny (Beth); her dog Dixie and many close friends. She is preceded in death by her parents Regina Gracyalny (Zakowski) and Chester Gracyalny, and former spouse David Conrad.

Cynthia Mary Conrad (Gracyalny) was a devoted daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, friend and member of Holy Apostles Parish. Cynthia was a resident of New Berlin, WI for 56 years and recently moved to Wind Point to be closer to her daughter and grandchildren. Cynthia graduated from Our Lady of Mercy Highschool in Milwaukee, WI. She received her bachelor’s degree at Concordia University while working full time and raising her two children with her mother Regina Gracyalny. She retired from Southwest Pediatrics as office manager and enjoyed most of her retirement working the after-school program at Holy Apostles School.

Cynthia loved her family and enjoyed every moment she got to spend with her children and grandchildren. She was a living angel walking this earth and she raised her children with unconditional love, compassion, and gratitude. She was incredibly proud of the strong young women her grandchildren became and are growing up to be. She is cherished by each of them, and they are so lucky to have so many close memories. She was a supportive, nurturing and treasured sister. She was a devoted daughter who lived with her mother Regina nearly all her life. They shared a close mother and daughter bond that has been the foundation of the family Cynthia built.

Cynthia loved music her entire life. She played the violin and joined the drum and bugle corp. with her brother Michael during Highschool. She absolutely adored singing and had a beautiful voice that she used to comfort both her children and grandchildren. She was a longtime member of the Holy Apostles Choir. As a new resident in Wind Point she quickly joined St. Rita’s Parish and joined the choir where she quickly formed new friendships.

Cynthia was a long-time active member of Holy Apostles Parish. She was a member of the choir, worked in the after-school care program and volunteered at the festival every year with her children and grandchildren. Her Catholic faith was incredibly important to her, and she lived her life through Christ’s teachings.

Cynthia’s love reached everyone she knew. She filled every life with kindness, warmth and acceptance. She was a close and valued friend to many and will be missed dearly by her good friends in the Sunshine Club. She admired all aspects of nature and enjoyed daily walks where she would appreciate the beauty around her. She loved animals and always had a beloved companion at her side. She leaves behind her beloved Dixie, whose loyalty brought her comfort, friendship and unconditional love.

Cynthia lived her life with a loving touch. She continues to spread that loving touch through her gift of organ donation. Cynthia saved three lives by providing the gift of life and healing to others.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday June 23, 2026, at Holy Apostles Church, 16000 West National Avenue, New Berlin, Wisconsin. Visitation will be 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM with Funeral Mass at 2:00 PM. Internment will take place privately with family at St. Adelbert’s Cemetery.
