Entered into Eternal life on Saturday, April 18, 2020, age 66. Proud mom of Adrian (Omari), Ayla (David), and Alex. Loving sister of Diana and the late Jeff. Sister-in-law of Pam. Cherished aunt of Heather (Jeff) and Andrew (Theresa), whose children include Kate, Elise, and A.J. Further survived by other family members and friends.
Cyndie often had several employment opportunities. Her early career was in social work and she passionately worked, wrote, and created projects centered around adoption-related issues. For many years she also worked as a university teacher in continuing education classes. If the school had a C in its name, she probably taught there. Cyndie was an accomplished writer and enjoyed writing short stories and publishing articles on adoption, her faith, and parenting. She enjoyed going to conferences across the state and visiting old friends. She was creative, brilliant, and always had a project.
People may recall that she bred lovebirds and carried them with her after they hatched. Cyndie was also involved in the local PFLAG chapter and enjoyed writing articles for their newsletter. She loved to assist with Alex’s theater and musical endeavors, garden, and sew (many of her and her children’s outfits were her own creations). In her later years, she was often spotted swimming at the local pool. She spent many happy years with her dog, Jewel, by her side.
Thank you to the caring staff of The Auberge (Silverado) in Menomonee Falls. She remained extremely independent, even in her declining year of health issues.
Due to the country’s health crisis, a celebration of Life will be held privately. Burial in Wisconsin Memorial Park.
