Cory John Niven, aged 53, passed away on February 28, 2024. Born in West Allis, Wisconsin, he was the son of James (Kirk) and Barbara (nee Seebeck) Niven.
Cory attended Nathan Hale High School and later graduated from the University of Steven’s Point with a degree in Wildlife Management. His infectious laughter brought joy to those around him. An avid hunter, he cherished pheasant hunting trips with his friends. Cory took pride in his three children: Kaitlyn, Nick, and Erin. He shared his passion for sports with his daughters by coaching them through years of softball. His loyal companion, Jordy, enjoyed seemingly endless games of fetch with him.
Cory was preceded in death by his father, James (Kirk) Niven, and his brother, Sean Niven. He is survived by his mother, Barbara Niven, his brother, Jeff Niven, and his children, Kaitlyn, Nick, and Erin Niven. Additionally, he is remembered by his niece, Tara (Joe) Lauden, along with their sons, Landon and Mason, and daughter, Olivia. The family expresses heartfelt gratitude to Cory’s close friends who stood by him and offered unwavering support. A special acknowledgment goes to Joe (Laura) Bath and George (Kathy) Bilansky.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 7, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Krause Funeral Home, 12401 West National Avenue, New Berlin, Wisconsin. Friends and family are invited to pay their respects and celebrate Cory’s life during this time.
