(Nee Hurst) Found peace on July 24, 2018. Age 88. Preceded in death by her husband, Robert “Bob”; brother, Robert “Bud”; sisters Pat and Judy; and numerous family members and life-long friends. Loving mother of Cathy, Mike (Penny), Tim (Teresa), Patti (Tim) and Maureen (Jay). Proud grandmother of Tim, Jason, Nicole, Amy, Stephie (Brad), Barbie (Matt), Christopher, Matthew (Heather), Breauna (Eric), Hunter, Elijah, Tiffany, Tori and Hunter. Great-grandmother of Ethan, Garret, Carson, Creed, Kayden, Bryce, Stella, Claire, Kaiden, Kerrigan, Cortana and Caspian. Forever mother-in-law of Rose (Michael). Special aunt to Jenny (Brian), Kimmy (Mike), Lynn (Jim), Patrick, Suzanne, Robert (Susan), Pam, Brian, Dennis (Hilde) and Donny (Linda). Friend and adopted mother and grandmother of many. Colleen made sure everyone felt they were part of her family. Now her Irish eyes are smiling down upon us from above.

Visitation at Krause Funeral Home, 12401 W. National Ave., New Berlin, on Sunday, July 29, 2018, from 1:00 to 4:00PM. Additional Visitation at St. Mary’s Visitation Catholic Parish, 1260 Church St., Elm Grove, on Tuesday, July 31, from 9:00 to 10:00AM. Funeral Mass at 10:00AM. Burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to Froedtert Hospital Foundation, St. Mary’s Visitation Catholic Parish or the Indian Community School.

She was so proud of her family and loved each and every family member so much. I always thought what a great lady. I loved her raspberry jello dish - still make it at times. So glad Tim & I took her to Meyer's restaurant last year for authentic corn beef and cabbage.
