Christopher Jordan Damico passed away suddenly on Thursday, April 18, 2024, in Grafton, Wisconsin, due to cardiac arrest. He was the absolute best husband, son, brother, uncle, and friend.
Chris was born on August 19, 1984, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to Tammy Brandenburg and Frank Damico. He had many fond childhood memories with his siblings Elise, Michael, and Lara, and cherished the time spent at his grandparents’ family parties with his aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Chris attended Rufus King High School and studied Journalism at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. After college, he pursued a career in marketing as a copywriter (and part-time graphic designer, let’s be honest). During his career, he made lifelong friends and met his wife, Ashley Damico (m. 2021).
He was an avid collector of books and typewriters, and loved getting lost in art galleries and museums any chance he could. Chris enjoyed traveling with his family and friends to places such as Salem, Grand Teton National Park, Portland, Disney World, Los Angeles, The Bahamas, and most recently, the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Everyone who knew Chris loved his sharp and witty sense of humor. His spot-on Christopher Walken impression will especially be missed. His life was pretty, pretty, pretty good.
Chris is survived by his wife Ashley Damico, mother Tammy Brandenburg, father Frank Damico, stepfather Barry Brandenburg, siblings Elise Stano (Jeff and Mason Stano), Michael Damico (Candy Hawn), and Lara Damico-Kunda (Adrian Kunda), and their cat, Petals.
Services will be held at Krause Funeral Home, 21600 West Capitol Drive, Brookfield, Wisconsin on Sunday, May 5, 2024. Visitation begins at 1:00 PM until time of service at 4:00 PM.
Memorial contributions may be made to ArtWorks for Milwaukee or The Milwaukee Public Library in Chris’s honor.
