Christ G Kostopoulos, age 60, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, May 22nd, 2026, with his loving wife by his side.

Christ is survived by his cherished wife of 25 years, Pamela, and his adoring children, Andrew and George. He is the dear son of the late George and the late Mary Kostopoulos. Christ is also survived by his brother Thomas (Ellen) Kostopoulos, his sister Constantina Kucinski and his nephews George Kostopoulos, Peter Kostopoulos and Sotirios Kucinski.

He was much loved and will forever be missed by many theios, theias, cousins, nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends. Christ was a very proud nouno to Angelo Cicatello, Angelina Anagnostopoulos, Sotirios Kucinski and Grace Gehrke.

Christ loved his family with his whole heart. He lived life to the fullest for sure. He had a life full of adventures and has created so many amazing and unforgettable memories with his family and friends over his entire life. He was a phenomenal cook and will forever be remembered for “Christo’s chickens”…. slowly cooked to perfection on the souvla for so many holidays and celebrations throughout the years.

Christ battled many health issues for so many years with such incredible courage and resilience. His strong faith and belief in God gave him strength and guidance always.

 

Christ will be missed dearly and loved and cherished forever.

His family would like to express their deepest gratitude and appreciation to Lindsey Katzmark, APNP and Jane Sowinski, RN at the Herma Heart Center for their many years of such loving and compassionate care. They would also like to thank Dr. Peter Rossi at Froedtert’s Heart and Vascular Center for his exceptional care and genuine kindness throughout the years.

Visitation 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM, with service at 11:00 AM, on Thursday, June 4, 2026 at Sts. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church, 2160 North Wauwatosa Avenue, Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. Procession to Pinelawn Cemetery in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to follow.

Our sincere condolences for the loss of Chris. Personally, I will always remember him as a person who was always fun to be around with every time me and my family were at my grandmas farm. My Dad I remember was very fond of Chris and always looked forward to seeing him, especially how Chris would always call him Thio ( uncle). I’m deeply sorry for the loss of Christ Kostopoulos. I have not met his family, but I am sure they were blessed by the same fun, generous, and loving person I knew growing up. Christ and I met in grade school after I had moved into the area and discovered that we were neighbors. He was my first friend at my new school, and looking back, I see how kind and caring he was to a new kid trying to find his place. I became a believer in grade school, and Christ came to church with me. I remember him expressing faith in Jesus Christ before life’s circumstances eventually drew us apart. That memory has stayed with me. In a time like this, I take comfort not in vague sentiment, but in the promises of Christ Himself: John 10:27–29 says, “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand.” That is my prayer and comfort today: that the Good Shepherd is merciful, faithful, and able to keep His own. May the Lord comfort Christ’s family and all who loved him
