Charles “Chuck” Tatge

Charles “Chuck” Tatge, age 87, passed away on March 21, 2025.

He is survived by his children, David (Carolyn) of Glenview, IL, Marianne (Robert) Berkopec of Mendota Hts., MN and Carolyn (John) Sinniger of Winona, MN. He is also survived by his seven grandchildren: Dan Tatge, Lynn Tatge; Jenn (Andy) Holterman, Stef (Dylan) Bothun, Katie (Patrick) McCue; Tony Sinniger, Brian Sinniger and five great-grandchildren, one sister, Joan Sayre and many nieces and nephews. Chuck was preceded in death by wife Gloria (Jungbluth) and infant granddaughter Sara Sinniger.

Chuck served many years as Technical Director at the Performing Arts Center in Milwaukee and as a member of the Milwaukee Stagehand’s Union. A long-time resident of Brookfield, he was also a volunteer firefighter and EMT for the Town of Brookfield. For decades, he enjoyed being a member of the safety/medical teams at the Milwaukee Mile and Road America racetracks in Wisconsin.

A visitation will be held at Krause Funeral Home, 9000 West Capitol Drive, Milwaukee, Wisconsin on Saturday, May 31, 2025 from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM followed by a Celebration of Life service at 11:15 AM.
