Chad E. Moilanen Passed away unexpectedly and was born into Eternal Life on April 14, 2024 at age 46. Best friend and devoted husband of Jamie (nee Chapman) for 22 years. Chad E. Moilanen
Passed away unexpectedly and was born into Eternal Life on April 14, 2024 at age 46. Best friend and devoted husband of Jamie (nee Chapman) for 22 years. Devoted Dad of Hunter and Logan. Beloved son of Gary and Mary Moilanen. Adored grandson of Carol Moilanen. Younger brother of Jason (Mary) Moilanen. Caring Uncle of Faith and Marissa. Loving son-in-law of Sandy Chapman and Bob (Anne) Chapman. Also loved and will be missed by aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends. Preceded in death by grandparents Harold Moilanen, Bob and Doris Pesik, Aunts Cheryl Sherman, and Debbie Bultman.
Chad graduated in 1996 from Milwaukee Lutheran High School where he met his wife, Jamie. He then attended WCTC. Chad was a devoted dad who not only coached his son’s baseball, basketball, football teams, and was a leader in boy scouts, but he also was an active member at Immanuel Lutheran church and the Lutheran School communities. He was a dedicated employee most recently of Acieta, Quad Tech, and Arctic Glacier Ice. Chad loved the outdoors, shooting archery, fishing, hunting, and spending time with loved ones up north at the cottage. He was an avid Dartball player and golfer who was a two-time ISO Golf League Champion. Chad had an enigmatic personality and a smile that exuded the kindness in his soul. He was a friend to many and will be dearly missed.

To the Moilanen family, from all of us who have shot dartball with Chad for many years in leagues, tournaments, and socially...we are so saddened to hear of your loss. All of us know the feeling of getting that high-five or fist bump from Chad when he was all fired up after hitting that big go-ahead triple..." Check that one!" The Wanaki/Turn Bar and Beautiful Savior Dartball teams will be planting a tree and donating a bench in memory of Chad that will sit on the 12th Hole at Wanaki Golf Course in Menomonee Falls. A dedication will be planned for this spring. Stay strong, and lets load 'em up for Chad.
