Chad's Dartball Teammates left a message on April 20, 2024:
To the Moilanen family, from all of us who have shot dartball with Chad for many years in leagues, tournaments, and socially...we are so saddened to hear of your loss. All of us know the feeling of getting that high-five or fist bump from Chad when he was all fired up after hitting that big go-ahead triple..." Check that one!" The Wanaki/Turn Bar and Beautiful Savior Dartball teams will be planting a tree and donating a bench in memory of Chad that will sit on the 12th Hole at Wanaki Golf Course in Menomonee Falls. A dedication will be planned for this spring. Stay strong, and lets load 'em up for Chad.

To the Moilanen family, we had the privilege of working with Chad for many years at Quad/Tech. During that time, he was not only a model employee and teammate, but his love and dedication to his family was always first and foremost. We worked not only with Chad but Jason and Mary as well and on few occasions, met Jamie and the boys when they stopped in. He will always be remembered fondly by all of us and our hearts and prays go out to all of you during this difficult time.

Mr Moilanen was an amazing coach who pushed us to be the best players and teens we could be! He led us on the field spiritually and physically along side my dad and gave us so many amazing memories and experiences I will always cherish! We won many games with him as our coach and I will always remember the Watertown game where he celebrated with us after our biggest win of the year! He will be missed dearly and I will always hold our times we had special!!
