Caterina and Frank married in Sicily on September 19th, 1973 and three short months later on December 15, 1973, Caterina immigrated to America, starting her life in Wisconsin. Over the next few years, she spent her time raising her three children full time.
When all the children began school, she continued her career as a seamstress at Modern. Following her work at Modern, she moved to Boston Store Downtown Milwaukee, where she spent 7 years in the men’s alterations department. She was an extremely talented and meticulous worker, creating clothing to fit her clients perfectly. Before retiring, she was able to finish her seamstress career at Boston Store Brookfield, where she got to work beside her husband. In April 2019, she was proud to become an American citizen.
Throughout her life she was devoted to taking care of her family, with her husband, kids, and grandkids being her world. She was a wonderful cook, making only the best authentic Italian food alongside her husband. Her other hobbies included cleaning, crocheting, and watching the Packers play. She was loved by so many and she will be deeply missed for her kind, selfless and loving nature. Her loving husband Frank took care of her until her last day.
