Passed away peacefully on Easter Sunday, March 31, 2024 at the age of 80. Loving wife of David for 59 years. She was born October 3, 1943 in Green Bay, WI to the late Harold and Ethel Carufel.
Survived by daughter Kristine (Stuart) Bachmann, son Paul (Sharen) Schneckenberg and grandson Matthew Schneckenberg. Further survived by nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by brothers Michael Carufel, William Carufel, and sister Merilee Gille.
Throughout her life, Carollyn enjoyed being with family, active in social clubs, and traveling. She served as President of CPA Wives and was a member of Brookfield Junior Women’s Club. Carollyn also enjoyed dancing, singing, water skiing, and living life to the fullest. Carollyn was employed at Boston Store until she retired.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Angels Grace Hospice and Brookdale Brookfield Alzheimer’s & Dementia Care for the excellent care Carollyn received.
Visitation on Thursday, April 11, 2024 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM, followed by a service at 1:00 PM, at St. Anthony on the Lake, W280N2101 Prospect Avenue, Pewaukee, Wisconsin.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to St. Anthony on the Lake Catholic Church.
