Carmen had a special place in my life as I was growing up. She was close friends with my parents and they would often travel and attend social events together. She was my babysitter many times and said that I would fall asleep inside my bedroom with my little fingers sticking out the door so she could not open the door to check on me. She bought me special little gifts when I had my tonsils out. As I got older, she would sometimes give me the dresses that she no longer wore and I thought they were so special. She was a good mother and loved all of her children. When I became older, I would babysit for them.I know we will all see her soon and I pray that God will put his arms around all of those close to her and walk with them in the days ahead. We were all blessed to have her in our lives!
