I'm so grateful for the incredible memories I shared with Carmela. I recall the moment at Jessica's house when I saw you courageously dance the running man, and I was thoroughly impressed. Our time working together at KFC restaurant was truly special - you excelled at the drive-through, Orlando mastered the cooking, and I handled the front register. Those were hilarious and unforgettable teenage years filled with laughter and growth. Your gentle spirit and kindness inspired us all. You will be deeply missed, but your legacy will live on as a beacon of hope and joy. Sending healing prayers and comforting hugs to Auntie Alice, Uncle Benito, Maurico, and Carmen during this challenging time.

My dear friend Carmella, you will be greatly missed! We had some great times at UW-Whitewater (from the parties to the trips to even just hanging out at your apartment). You were my 1st friend that I met. We could’ve met as kids though because when I was around 5 years old & you were 6 we lived 1 block away from each other and attended the same school (Congress Elementary). I guess it wasn’t meant to meet you until College. That’s when during student orientation, my Mom and Granny walked up to you and said “Okay Meky, let’s go”. They thought that you were me! Hehehe…then we moved into Arey Hall and you were right across the hall from me. I really wish that we could’ve had more time together, but the time we had will be valued forever! Carmella I love you so much and I will miss you!!

I’m just sorry to the family and friends. I remember Carmella as a quiet person who was a queen!!! She just was so sweet and special to me!!! I mistook her for my daughter on the first day of school that was a riot!! I will miss her.

Rest in Peace to my dear friend Carmella. We bonded while at UW-Whitewater with our similar taste in music. We shared cds and attended concerts together. One quick memory I'll share is when we would burn cds for each other. There were a couple times when she would make me a cd and would add a song at the end that I hadn't asked for that didn't go with the rest of the cd at all. The cd list requested was a mix of rap and r&b songs. However, one time the last track she added was Love is a Battlefield by Pat Benatar. As soon as the song started I instantly laughed. You will remain in my heart C-Note.
