Bryant Latrell Lee

Bryant L. Lee, lovingly known as “B,” died suddenly on September 2, 2026, at the age of 45. He was born in Milwaukee on July 13, 1981, to Carroll “Carrie” Lee and Melvin Limmitt.

Bryant was funny. Not quietly funny. Not occasionally funny. He could turn almost anything into a joke, and he was usually already laughing before he finished telling his own. His laugh was unmistakable, loud, infectious, and lovingly compared by his family to a hyena. Both of his children inherited versions of it.

He met Jaime at Roosevelt Middle School when they were 12 and 13, and they spent the next thirty-one years together, marrying in 2015 on his lunch break, in jeans and steel-toed welding boots. He met his best friend, Dayonne Washington, even earlier than that, in elementary school. Bryant kept his people.

He was a welder by trade and a father by nature, to his son Bryan and his daughter Brittany, and to the nieces, nephews, and neighborhood kids who found their way into his house and stayed. He cut the boys’ hair, gave advice nobody asked for, and fed whoever was hungry, even in the years when his own family did not have much extra.

HE LOVED THE GREEN BAY PACKERS! He loved his 2008 Black Impala SS (My World). HE LOVED THE GREEN BAY PACKERS! He loved being around his people, music playing, somebody talking, somebody laughing. HE LOVED THE GREEN BAY PACKERS!

A brain injury in 2018 changed the last years of his life, but it does not define it. Bryant existed long before 2018. He now joins his daughter, Brittany, who went ahead of him in December 2024 and, we like to think, went to prepare a place for her dad.

A few months before that injury, Bryant said this about himself: “I know my life purpose, and it is to bring light to those who are in the dark, who don’t see the light.”

Bryant is survived by his wife, Jaime Lee; his son, Bryan Lee; and his sister, Sadie Lee. He is also survived by Jaime’s parents, James Alexander and Debra Warino; his sisters-in-law, Janiece (Henry) Bryant, Janis (Mark) Woodfork, and Jennifer Warino; and his nieces and nephews, including Toriana (Lampkin) Walker, Tarrell Lee, Tamika Lee, Tyron Gray, Tarrance Stewart, Halei, Harmoni, Heaven, Jasmyn, James, Janaya, Jaelyn, Jacolby, AnaMarie, and Ayden, along with numerous cousins, lifelong friends, and others who became family simply because Bryant decided that was what they were.

Bryant was preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Brittany Lynn Lee; his mother, Carroll “Carrie” Lee; his father, Melvin Limmitt; his brothers, Tycer Lee and Jessie Lee; his lifelong best friend, Dayonne Washington; Curtis Williams, affectionately known to Bryant as “Kurt-Kurt”; and his brother-in-law, Adam Alexander.

Visitation will be held Friday, September 18, 2026, from 11:00 AM –  12:00 PM at Krause Funeral Home, 7001 West Brown Deer Road, Milwaukee, Wisconsin 53223. Funeral services and burial will immediately follow.
