Passed unexpectedly on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at the age of 60. Beloved Dad of Amy (Mike) Burmester and Morgan Cieslak. Proud Papa of Riley, Logan, Lucas and Josie. Cherished Son of Debby (the late Roger) Raygo and Ronald (Nancy) Cieslak. Brother of Erica (Tim) Sowinski and Joel (Shannon). Brian is reunited with his loving wife Wanda of 32 years. Further survived by step siblings, other relatives and friends.
Brian attended St. Rita’s Catholic School in Milwaukee and in 1983 he graduated high school from Milwaukee Hamilton.
He was a boy scout and enjoyed camping and fishing with his dad at a young age and taking trips to Colorado with his mom. At the age of 18, he started his lifetime career with Sunrise Vending, a family own company and Pavlic Vending. The last few years he was known as the “Pizza Man” at Albrecht’s Sentry in Delafield, where he will be deeply missed.
Fishing trips to Canada and Ohio with dear family members and friends was a highlight in his life.
Brian was an avid Packer and Brewers fan, loved all sports, but most of all being a Papa was his pride. Brian was the center of attention and could light up a room with his infectious energy and personality. It was a priority in Brian’s life to spread laughter, sharing jokes, and making people laugh, whether that was bowling or playing darts, around a cribbage board or playing poker.
Gathering will be held at Krause Funeral Home, 12401 West National Avenue, New Berlin, WI, 53151, on Thursday, August 27, 2026, 1:0o PM – 3:45 PM. Celebration of Life at 4:00 PM.
Brian will be deeply missed by his daughters, grandkids, parents and all who loved him.
Family is asking everyone who will be attending the celebration to please wear Packers, Brewers, Bucks or Badgers attire!
