It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Brenda Jean Pittman (nee Bailey) on June 6, 2025. Brenda was born on November 1st, 1957, in Salem, OH, to William and Nora (nee Motter) Bailey. Brenda lived a full life of laughter, warmth, compassion, and love for her family and friends. Brenda met the love of her life and beloved husband, William Pittman, of 40 years of marriage. The loving couple first met in Phoenix, AZ, and relocated to Milwaukee, WI, to raise their children. Nearing retirement age, they moved back to AZ and settled in Tucson.
Brenda was known for her bright smile, sense of humor, and fun nature. Her compassion for others led her to a 30-year career in nursing, where she provided exceptional care for patients and their family members. She was a beloved coworker who always went one step beyond. Brenda worked for 23 years as a nurse at Davita Dialysis Centers.
She was a loving, supportive mother to two daughters, Megan (nee Pittman) Phillips and Holly Pittman. Brenda enjoyed nothing more than the cherished moments spent with her daughters. Ohio State Buckeyes football and Green Bay Packers games brought her much joy. Brenda was a passionate reader who liked nothing more than getting lost in a good book.
Cooking and baking were Brenda’s passions, which brought her much happiness. Seeing her family and friends smile after trying her cooking and baking made her proud. During her final years, her grandson Bode brought her much enjoyment. Preceding her in joining the Lord are her parents, William and Nora Bailey, and brother Larry Motter.
Brenda is survived by her husband, William Pittman, and her daughters, Megan Phillips and Holly Pittman; her son-in-law, Josh Phillips and her grandson, Bode Phillips; her brothers, William Bailey, and Timothy Bailey; her sisters, Jennie Englehart (nee Bailey), Tammy Bailey, and Bonnie McClellan (nee Bailey); and her brothers-in-law, JT (Tom) Englehart and Donald McClellan Jr. Although Brenda is gone, she will live in our hearts forever.
Visitation at Krause Funeral Home, 21600 West Capitol Drive, Brookfield, Wisconsin on Tuesday, July 1, 2025 from 3:00 PM – 4:45 PM. Funeral Service 5:00 PM.
