“Semper Fi” 

Faithful husband of Margaret Bosse (nee Reise). Loving Father of Susan Lindenberg and Stephanie (Taffi) Becker with their husbands James Lindenberg and Mark Becker. Adored by his grandchildren Katie Alvarado and her husband Robert Alvarado, Andrew Lindenberg, Sarah Becker, and William Lindenberg. Loved by his great-grandchildren Isabella Lindenberg, Alexander Lindenberg, Elena Lindenberg, Isla Alvarado, Nora Alvarado and Maia Alvarado.
Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Bill first worked at the Riverside Theater where he met Margaret, his wife of 72 years. After graduating from Boys Tech, Bill continued on to serve in the Marine Corps during the Korean war, afterward continuing to serve with the Military Police and as a Drill Instructor. Once a Marine, always a Marine.  Bill seldom left the house without a shirt or hat embroidered with “US Marines” or “Semper Fi.”  
Upon leaving Corps, Bill raised his wonderful family stressing the importance of togetherness, honesty, hard work, and being true to yourself.
He was loved by all, from his family to strangers he met as well. Any person who had the pleasure of meeting Bill could not help but be impressed with his good-natured sense of humor and radiant charisma. He will be missed dearly by all, especially his loving family.  
Service will be held at Krause Funeral Home, 12401 West National Avenue, New Berlin, Wisconsin on Monday, September 29, 2025, with visitation from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM. Interment at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove, Wisconsin.
