Barbara T. Benish (nee Wierciszewski)

Entered God’s loving arms on November 13, 2025, at age 85. Beloved wife of the late Richard “Dick” Benish, for 66 years. Loving mother of Rich (Marcelle), Joe, Tony (the late Linda) and Greg (Mary). Proud grandmother of Richie, John, Richelle, Ashley (Austin), Aimee (Jonah), Christopher, Kristin (Paul), and Jamie, and great-grandmother to Mira, Kade, Harper, Mia and Aubrie. Preceded in death by her parents, Stephan and Helen, and siblings Chester, Jackie, George, and Ted.

She was a nurses’ aide at St. Luke’s Medical Center for many years.

Barbara’s sons wish to extend their thanks for all the love and support from the other relatives and friends.

Visitation at the Funeral Home on Monday, November 24 at 5:30 – 7:15 PM, Vigil Service at 7:30 PM. Additional visitation at St. Mary Catholic Faith Community, 9520 West Forest Home Avenue on Tuesday 11:30 AM – 12:15 PM. Mass of Christian Burial 12:30 PM. Entombment at St. Adalbert Cemetery.
