In Loving Memory of Barbara N. Pace
Celebrating the Life and Legacy of a Cherished Soul
We announce with deep regret the passing of Barbara Neil Pace, who died peacefully on October 29, 2025, at the age of 86. Barbara was born in Biloxi, Mississippi, and spent most of her life in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Barbara’s lifelong passion for social work was sparked by the completion of her associate degree from MATC of Milwaukee. Outside of professional interests, she cultivated a deep love for gardening and was an avid card player, finding joy in friendly competition and good company. Friends and family also fondly remember her love for casino visits, where she enjoyed the thrill of the games and shared many laughs at the slot machines.
She joins her husband, the late Charlie Boyd Pace, in eternal rest.
Barbara is survived by her beloved family, including her firstborn son, Tomey Howard, Jr.; her daughters, Darleen Howard-Binder and Mary Howard-Edwards; and her grandchildren, Chelsey Howard-Cooper and Danielle Barnes. Each holds a special place in their hearts for her and will continue to honor her memory by living with the same grace, kindness, and integrity that she demonstrated every day.
At the family’s request, no memorial service will be held.
Barbara N. Pace will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her. May she rest in peace.
