I will never forget the private moments we’ve shared throughout my life, the many phone calls, we just started having lunches and shopping trips together. The one thing I’d love most about her is she allowed me to be 100% me with her about my life. I didn’t have to sugarcoat or beat around the bush with anything. I’d share my truth and she would respond and give me her truth, to the point where she told me, “Alise, I’m not Ms. Barbara no more, I’m Auntie Barbara now and don’t forget that.” It’s surreal to know that we won’t see you anymore, talk anymore, or do your brows before we go for ice cream at purple door (she liked it, I didn’t 😂 but I went for her). I thank God and my mom for allowing her into it lives growing up. I’m going to miss you so much. I love you Auntie Barbara. I promise to do your final advice to me and live so I can see you again. To your family, the extended families, and friends of Auntie Barbara, please accept my deepest condolences

Me and Barbara Hello, my name is Sherise. Unfortunately I don’t know the the whole family. I shared some memories with her sister Ms Linda I wanted the family to know I loved your sister Barbara. She was a #1 Diva. I use to tell her after she gives me a compliment “I must be looking good cause I take your compliment seriously”She’s been to my home, my kids and family were fond of her. Your sister was a very popular lady in the church and in the community. She Always knew what was going on far as church and community events and always DRESSED. She took me to some of the finest consignment shops- she had good taste for quality clothing. She was never scared to speak her mind. I remember we were together at the beauty supply store and we came across the Matted lipstick when it first came out and tried multiple colors to make sure it did wipe off.She will let you know if it don’t look right, lol. She was a positive mentor for the youth as well. I’ve seen her encourage students she taught and wasn’t afraid to tell them when they were wrong. I asked her to attend my many birthdays and she always showed up with nice gifts and for my mom as well. She was the fireball you would like at your table at any social event. She definitely will be missed, there will never be another DIVA like Barbara Miller. Thank you for letting me share a few of my many memories 😊 God Bless you Sherise Patterson from Christian Faith Fellowship

My condolences to the family. Barb was one of the most inspiring woman I’ve ever run into. When I met her her vibe was so strong and unique like I knew her for a while. I invited her over to meet my children who at the time were young. She prayed over my kids to keep them safe. And I appreciate that because they are still keeping safe with her blessing them. I will truly miss her and I know she will forever follow me through the passing days. RIH my friend 😊 God loves you and so do I🙏🏿🙏🏿 Jackie B
