  Born to eternal life on June 20, 2026 at age 70. Survived by his loving wife, Maria, children Rosa and Ausencio (Caitlin), and adoring grandchildren Roel, Rico, Luis, and Marisol. Loving brother to Manuel, Miguel, Teresa, Gabriela, Mara, Noelia, Yolanda, and Rosa Isela. Preceded in death by precious daughter Marisol Cevallos.
  Ausencio was a familiar face around the metro Milwaukee area as founder, owner, and member of Mariachi Real Azteca, the first mariachi band formed in the state of Wisconsin. As a child, he lived in a Mexican orphanage and the orphanage sang for Pope Paul VI in the Vatican. The Pope blessed Ausencio and the other children after singing. Ausencio was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather to his family and will be truly missed by all.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 2 from 8:00-9:30am at Krause Funeral Home 12401 W. National Ave, New Berlin, WI 53151. Mass will be held immediately after visitation at 10am at St. Anthony’s church at 1711 S. 9th St. Milwaukee, WI 53204. Burial will be held at 11:15am at Forest Home Cemetery at 2405 W. Forest Home Ave. Milwaukee, WI 53215. Lunch will be served at 12:00pm at The Patio at 3126 W. Pierce St. Milwaukee, WI 53215.
