Born to Eternal life on January 10, 2023, at age 90 years.
Loving and devoted husband to Chrys Labros. Preceded in death by his parents George and Helen Labros, and first wife Bess Labros. Survived by his sister, Sylvia (Rev. George) Nicozisin. His children, George, Helene (Jeff) Lanaghan, Tina (Matt Schwark) Witney, and Maria (Emanuele) Conti. Best Papou ever to Nicolette (Jeff), Bessie, Tom, Olivia, Nicholas and Alexander. Also loved by many nephews and nieces.
Arthur was a retired attorney who graduated from Marquette University and practiced law for 40 years. He was also a real estate developer and builder. Arthur was visionary and a pioneer. In 1986 he built a shopping center named Brookmound Plaza, the only structure of its kind at a time when 178th and Bluemound was fairly unpopulated. He also went on to build a condominium development in Brookfield. Arthur was the President of the Labros Company, Inc. Arthur and his wife Chrys were co-founders of Orthodox Christian Charities of Wisconsin. He was an Archon of the Ecumenical Patriarchate. He was also past President of AHEPA, past board member of the Orthodox Manor Housing Development, and New Building Fund chairman for Sts. Constantine & Helen Church.
Arthur’s love affair with the beauty of God’s earth culminated in the ownership and development of Pheasant Creek Farm, a game preserve and serene getaway.
