Anthony “Tony” J. Sanfelippo – Found peace on January 24, 2026 at the age of 71.

Loving husband of Karen for 29 years, dear father to Anthony and Brad (Kristen) and cherished grandpa to Kadence, Tucker and Anthony. He is further survived by his parents, Joseph and Patsy, his brothers Mike (Kyle), Tom (Shelly), Pete (Mary), Joe (Becky), and Steve (Jeneane), as well as his aunt and many nieces and nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

He was born in Milwaukee, attended Don Bosco High School, and completed some college towards a degree in history. He worked on his family’s sod farm while working at A.O. Smith in quality control. He owned two Christmas tree farms in the northwoods, which besides his family, was his passion in life. He continued working with Christmas trees on his brother’s tree farm. Tony was sweet, tough, compassionate, and realistic. Tony was seen as a big teddy bear and well loved by all of his nieces and nephews and grandchildren. He was often silly, loved “messing around” and had a great sense of humor. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.

A celebration of life to honor Tony will be at a later date.

I am so sorry to hear this, Tony and I grew up next to each other on 30thstreet. both went to Holy Ghost grade school and then on to Don Bosco high school and closed the school down in 1972. we were best friends during grade school and into high school. so many good memories of working on the sod farm to cutting andselling Christmas trees. Working for Joe and uncle Dom. was when i learned how to drive not only a car but a farm tractor too! lost contact when my job moved to Sauk City in 1985. just came across the obit today. Joe and Pat have my sincere condolence.

I feel fortunate to have been able to get to know Tony, Karen, and the rest of the family when I spent a summer season in Wisconsin and many times when he and Karen would visit Mike in Florida. I have always enjoyed the conversations we had. He treated me very well. It was very apparent how much he cared about his family and friends. I have some good memories of sitting around Mikes back yard with the family and always have a lot of appreciation when he would help me find parts when I needed them up in Milwaukee. He and the rest of the family made me feel at home while I was up there. My condolences to all of you. He was a great person and will be missed. Sincerely, Captain Pete
