Andrew Walter Heimerl was born to Eternal Life on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at the age of 52. He was the loving son of Walter and Franceen, beloved brother of Steven “Stavros,” and cherished partner of Nikki Roelandts. He is also survived by many friends, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his beloved twin brother, Nicholas Heimerl; his grandparents, Peter and Sophia Shane and Walter and Helen Heimerl; his aunt, Susan Bolda; his uncle, Rick Bolda; his uncle, Peter Shane Jr.; his aunt, Janice Heimerl; and his cousin, Peter Shane III.
We thank God for sparing Andrew’s life 12½ years ago after he fell into a diabetic coma.
Andrew loved spending time in Florida with his parents and his brother, Steve, over many years, often extending his visits. He treasured the family time, conversations, warm weather, and relaxing by the pool.
He deeply loved his girlfriend, Nikki, and enjoyed watching Packers and Brewers games with her and sharing everyday thoughts.
Andrew endured many physical and emotional trials, including a diabetic coma and the loss of his twin brother. His deep faith in God gave him the strength and peace to bear these hardships. He never once complained to us, to his brother, to Nikki, or to his doctor.
Words cannot fully express our sorrow, and we will always be grateful for the time we shared with him.
We take comfort in the love he shared and the memories he leaves behind. He will be forever loved, deeply missed, and always remembered. His memory will live on in all who knew and loved him.
May Andy’s soul rest in the hands of the Lord.
