I met Mrs. Kennis when I moved to Milwaukee in the early 1980’s. She lived her life as a Christlike example of and in love. When I needed answers on Scripture she was my go to parishioner. While I moved away quite sometime ago, she remained in my thoughts and prayers. She and her daughter Cheryl were a cherished part of my memories at The Salvation Army. Blessings and prayers to all loved ones and friends.

Aunt Christine was a family pillar, loving, wise and often funny. She generously shared her wisdom, a comforting word and generated heartfelt smiles. Although we lived miles apart, her love and spirit were always close. While we grieve her loss, we are grateful for the legacy of love, wisdom, hope and memories that she leaves behind. “Earth hath no sorrow that Heaven cannot Heal!”
